Blue Dream Ministries is a family run ministry to Omaha’s Homeless and Near Homeless, delivering food and fellowship to those who gather at the corner of 14th and Farnam. We believe that the type of genuine concern that prompts action is from Christ’s heart and creates an opportunity for us to participate in his invitation to Omahan’s from all walks of life.
After doing a lot of volunteer work, we found an organization that delivered food to the homeless in downtown Omaha. After a year with Starfish Ministries, we found out that they would be moving into another area to help with dinners and in July 2009, we decided to take over their original mission.
Today, we not only feed the homeless and near homeless in downtown Omaha, but we also assist a shelter for homeless pregnant women, as well as provide food and other items directly to families in need.
